On Saturday mornings (after 9:30 AM Mass) the Marian Societies of Christ the King Parish - the Society of the Mother of God and the Sodality of Our Lady of Sorrows - meet to pray a perpetual Rosary Novena. We welcome your prayer requests. We keep such requests in our Novena Prayer Journal, recording both the request and date it was received as well as any answer to our prayers.

Christ the King Parish is noted for its many healing miracles - you can see a list of some of these on our Healing Ministry page. We would very much like to add your healing miracle to our growing list!

It is important to note, however, that our Rosary Novena is not a spiritual vending machine - drop in a donation and we'll pray for you until you're all better. You must also cooperate with our prayer by prayer of your own, as well as doing whatever your health care professionals advise for you. God uses physicians and medicines to heal us as well as prayer.

If you are in the vicinity of the Parish - either because you live in the area or are traveling near us - we strongly encourage you to come to a Healing Mass. Nothing takes the place of the laying on of hands and anointing with holy oil. "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the manner of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up"  James 5:14,15 (emphasis ours). You are also welcome to join us in our Rosary Novena on Saturdays!

Healing Masses are held twice a week: on Thursdays at 12 noon and again on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM.  The Mass on Thursdays also includes a Novena to S. Peregrine, the Patron Saint of cancer patients, as well as anointing with his relic for those suffering from cancer. After Communion all who wish it are also anointed with holy oil. Go to the Find Us page for directions.

We welcome your requests as well as your presence whenever you can join us, and we are believing for your healing miracle.
